Peacefully, on January 18, 2013, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Carl Fraser, 62, of Montague, passed away.
Born in Montague, March 30, 1950, he was the son of the late Lovat and Amanda (Deveau) Fraser.
Carl had a real love of people, he showed that in his coaching, being close with his friends and his love and pride for his cherished sons: Christopher of Calgary and Colby (Jill) of Montague. He was also loved and will be remembered by his partner Fran Gormley; sisters, Velda (Fred) Buell, Lorraine (Lorne) MacKenzie; brothers, Cecil (Irene), Lovat, Ivan (Debbie); and his uncle, aunts and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home where visiting will be held Monday, January 21, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in Lower Montague Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or for 2-year-old Sarah Jane Higginbotham’s lung surgery would be appreciated. www.fergusonsfh.com
