ALLAIN, GERARD - 1915 - 2013 - Gerard Allain, 98, of Saint-Joseph de Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Dr Georges L Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton on Monday, January 21st, 2013. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Maxime and the late Marie-Anne (Maillet) Allain. He will be sadly missed by his sister Dolorise Comeau of Moncton, a special niece Marie-Anne Hayes of Saint-Joseph de Kent, and her two daughters; Nichole and Rayna, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by five sisters; Augusta, Hélène, Emilia, Marie, Juliette and three brothers; Auguste, Alderic and Joseph.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’ église, Bouctouche, on Thursday, January 24th, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday, January 25th, 2013 at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Gerard’s memory donations can be made to the SPCA or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
