The death occurred at her late residence on Friday, May 30, 2008, of Etta Wakelin of Charlottetown, age 88 years. Wife of the late Staff/Sgt. Lloyd Wakelin. Dear mother of Lloyd (Myrna), Marilyn (George) Wotton, Alfie (Carol predeceased), Brenda (Allen) Wood, Melvin (Lori Mann) and Valerie (Donnie) Bruce. Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 14 great- grandchildren. Daughter of the late Bertha and Alfred Jay. Sister of the late Lois MacDonald, Garfield Jay, and George Jay. Sister-in-law of Marion Jay. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
