It saddens the family to announce the peaceful passing of Violet Mary Avery, age 94, from Deep Bight, at the Dr.G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on January 19, 2013. Predeceased by her husband, Walter. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories are her children, Everett (Vickie), Lindo (Lorraine), Winston (Geraldine- deceased) and Vera (Gerald Stoyles); 15 grandchildren (Jody-deceased); 27 great grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at the Deep Bight United Church from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Bob Mercer, took place on January 22, 2013 with interment following.
