Peacefully at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, of Margaret Campbell Stordy, formerly of Carleton Siding, aged 90 years. Born in Darnley on March 23, 1922, daughter and last surviving member of the late Caseley and Hannah (Champion) Adams family. Wife of the late Elmer Stordy. Mother of Eleanor Crockett, Nine Mile Creek; Gloria Goian, Calgary; Wendell Stordy, Morinville, Alta.; Janet Crooks, Calgary; and Dennis (Val) Stordy, Calgary. Grandmother to nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Olga Stordy, Crapaud. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by the following brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in law: Lloyd (Blanche), Wallace (Alma), Charles (Evelyn) and Clayton Adams, Hilda (Gordon) Day, Carrie Kyle, Mildred (William) Stordy, Rena (Annie), Stetson (Abis), Keith (Jean), Ralph (Jean), Allison and Everett Stordy, Mae Pace and Leta (Warren) Ferguson. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
