Two years ago the world
as we knew it, changed...

It seems in our lives we have
reached a dead-end,
Everything is getting
tougher to comprehend,
The loss of a life
before it’s due time,
To us, it seems like
an everlasting crime.

The days without answers,
The days of wondering why,
The things we answer
only with a cry.

Regretfully, with tears in our eyes,
We laid him to rest.

Though in the end,
We have said our good-byes,
He will live on in our hearts,
His spirit will never die.

Life is just a trial,
Life is just a test,
For a momentary while,
Before eternal rest.

Forever loved, forever missed.
