SCOVIL, MARY - The passing of Mary Scovil, age 83 of Hanwell, NB occurred peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2013 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Mathieson) Hood. Mary was a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4 Ladies Auxilliary. Survived by a son George Ernest Scovil of Brampton, ON; two daughters Kim Scott (Rick) of Hanwell, NB and Jane Scovil (Sandy) of Keswick Ridge, NB; two grandchildren Kelly Scott-Storey (Gerald) of Fredericton, NB, Andy Scott of Oromocto, NB; two great grandchildren Abby and Kate Storey of Fredericton, NB; a sister-in-law Gloria Hood of Nova Scotia; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers John and George; as well as a sister-in-law Phyllis.
