JACK TREVOR DOMINIE
September 8, 1937 – January 30, 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jack Trevor Dominie announces his passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 30, at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 75 years. Born at Francois NL, Jack was the son of the late John and Violet Dominie. He was predeceased by his infant brother Rex Dominie, brother Glenn Dominie and many brother and sisters in law. He leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving family: devoted wife Marie (nee Fiander) of 51 years; loving children: Cindy Shipley Halifax NS, Joanne (John) Whelan St. John's NL, Rex (Paula) Dominie Port aux Basques, Danny (Pamela) Dominie Middle Sackville NS; five grandchildren: Candace, Michaela, Hannah, Alexander and Jenna; sisters: Marjorie (Joe) Willis, Doris (Will) Munden all of Port aux Basques; brother in law Ralph (Marion) Fiander; sisters in law: Kay Fiander, Adeline Fiander all of Woodville, Tuesday Seymour Port aux Basques and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. Visitation took place on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Codroy. Funeral services took place on Saturday, February 2, 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Clayton Billard, interment followed at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
