KING, HAROLD JOSEPH - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Harold J. King, age 87 of Hanwell, NB formerly of Mazerolle Settlement on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Howie) King and husband of the late Cecile (Arsenault) King. Harold was Catholic by faith. He was a carpenter by trade and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, work in his garden, as well as play cards. Survived by a daughter Diane King of Vancouver, BC; sons Eugene (Judy) of Upper Kingsclear, Robert of Mazerolle Settlement, Roger (Theresa) of Charters Settlement, John of Mazerolle Settlement; a sister Barbara Chessie of Fredericton; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Stephen King, and brother-in-law Dual Chessie.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jack Dolan officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
