It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clar Downton, at age 75, on January 8, 2013. Clar will be joining the love of his life Jean and his son and best friend Gary. His life carries on through his daughter Sherry, daughter-in-law Brenda, grandchildren: Brad and Melissa (Justin) and the newest member of the family, whom Clar was absolutely smitten over, great-granddaughter Madelyn. He also leaves his heart-broken mother Ethel Downton; his sisters: Shirley (Wilf), Ruth (Pat) and June (Donald). Clar was wonderfully loved by many family members and friends who will miss him deeply. Memorial service has already taken place in Scarborough, ON. Donations can be made to a charity of ones choice.
