Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 of Mr. Roy Chester Green of Kingston, age 85 years.
Beloved husband of the late Erma (nee Stevenson) Green, and dear father of Carol (Harvey) Hyde of Meadowbank, Janet (Edward) MacFadyen of Meadowbank, Donna Cameron of Lloydminster, Alta., Kevin (deceased) (Gail) of Clyde River, Gloria (Steven) Welton of York, Lloyd (Della) of Lloydminster, Alta., and Glenn (Noella) of Kingston. He is also lovingly remembered by his 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wendell and Orville (Sylvia) Green; sisters, Doris (Lea deceased) Roberts and Verna (Heath deceased) Craswell.
Roy was also predeceased by his parents, Merrill and Annie (Andrews) Green; brothers, Wes, Ralph, George, Harold and Carl.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Cornwall United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m to 1:30 p.m.
