FOWLIE, Ethel Frances - 91, Truro, and a resident of Fredericton, New Brunswick, for the past two years, passed away peacefully at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, on Monday, January 14, 2013. Born March 22, 1921, in Princeport, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late John D. Hughes, Sr. and Esther (Frame) Hughes. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Ethel’s family will receive friends from 2-2:45 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013, followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m., Reverend Kym Burke-Cole officiating. Reception will follow. Spring interment will be held in Watson Cemetery. Family flowers only.
