LASKEY, GARNETT RUSSELL - Garnett Russell Laskey of Chipman passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, February 1st, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Garnett was born in Chipman, son of the late Albert and Edith (Johnston) Laskey. He is survived by his children, Miriam Laskey of Flin Flon, Manitoba, John (Barbara) Laskey of Minto and David Laskey of Chipman; 3 sisters, Margaret O’Quinn of Ladysmith, BC, Laura Morton of Chipman and Doris Hann of Chipman; brother Fred (Jean) Laskey of Chipman; two grandchildren, Sarah-Lynn Hunziker and Jason Devgun; nieces, nephews and cousins. Garnett was predeceased by his wife Pearl May (Stewart) Laskey; sisters, Jean Cole, Bessie Stewart, infants Miriam and Evelyn; brothers, Archie Laskey, Oscar Laskey and infant Leonard.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, February 3rd, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Monday, February 4th, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Egers officiating. Interment will be made in the Second Chipman United Baptist Cemetery, Chipman at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the William R.
