The death occurred, surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, January 31, 2013, of Ernest Carr, of Summerside, aged 86 years. Born in Sherbrooke, he was the son of the late Jane Carr.
Survived by his wife, Minnie (Champion) Carr; daughters, Loweena Dean, Toronto, ON; Hazel Frost, Borden-Carleton; Winnifred (Eric) MacArthur, St. Catherines; Lynn (Allan) MacLeod, Summerside East; Karen (Sterling) Noye, St. Eleanors; sons, Howard (Susan) Carr, Sackville, NB; John (Kara) Carr, Fredericton, NB; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, George Larson, John (Evelyn) Larson, Walter (Harriett) Larson, all of Massachusetts; Minnie's children, Judy (Marvin) Schurman, Debbie (Roger) Cassie, Brian Reeves (Kim Gaudet), and by her 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his first wife, Lois (Barlow) Carr; grandparents, George and Josephine (Crossman) Carr; son-in-law, Ray Frost; sister-in-law, Jeannie Larson; and by his nephew, Jody Larson.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Wellington. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
