McGEE, JACK HOLDEN - With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Jack Holden McGee of Fredericton, NB, which occurred on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Oromocto Public Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chipman, NB on December 24, 1923, he was the son of the late Melvin and Reta (McCordick) McGee. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by his High School Sweetheart of 70 years, Evelyn (Smith) McGee; sons, Richard (Carole-Ann) McGee and Robert (Joan) McGee; four grandchildren who made him very proud, Kelly (Roland) Cormier, Jeffrey (Laura) McGee of Niagara Falls, ON, Lisa McGee and Jennifer McGee (Mike). He was predeceased by his only cherished daughter, Wendy.
There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 2 pm with Father David Mercer officiating. Reception will follow the service in the church hall. Interment will be in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
