Peacefully, on Friday, February 1, 2013, of William (Bill) H. MacEwen of New Dominion, age 74 years.
Loving husband of Mary (Babensky) and dearest dad to daughter, Monica MacEwen, Moncton, and son, Gregg. Beloved brother of Lenore Hellier, Vancouver. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Helen (Lowther) MacEwen, and brother, John (Dorothy) MacEwen.
Bill had a full and wonderful life. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family, his sense of community and his passion for country music, all of which brought great joy and many treasured friendships into his life. While he found a great sense of fulfillment from his work with staff and clients at Tremploy, it was his radio programs (Country Roots and Gospel Road) that brought ultimate enjoyment and a true form of self-expression to his life.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in New Dominion Cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m.
