DELANEY, Robert “Bob” Manford - 71, of Beaver River, passed away surrounded by family on February 1, 2013, at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born November 20, 1941 he was a son of the late Thomas Randall and Sarah Ann (Killam) Delaney. Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He was a truck driver for most of his life and worked for Yarmouth Concrete and then Lafarge. In his spare time he was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He is survived by he loving wife of 49 years Celina (Saulnier), Beaver River; daughters, Kim (Greg), Chegoggin; Tammy (Scott) Jeddry, St Alphonse; brothers, Vaughn (Alberta), Port Maitland; Thomas (Linda), Liverpool, sisters, Inez Crocker, Saskatchewan; and grandchildren, Justin, Jenna, Matthew, Katelyn, and Cassidy. Besides his parents he was predeceased by son in infancy, Kevin; sister, Pearl; and brothers, Howard, Leslie, Ervin, and Lloyd. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation took place Sunday, February 3, from 2-4 pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home South Room and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral service was held Monday, February 4, at 10 a.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Stephen Bourque officiating.
