NEWMAN, ERMA DIANNE - Erma Dianne Newman went to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 3rd, 2013 with her family by her side from the Saint John Regional Hospital. Erma was born in Halifax, NS, February of 1941 she was the daughter to the late Cranswick and Vera Munroe. She worked as an operator for MT&T in her earlier years; she later met her husband and raised her family. She was a member of the Light House of Faith Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Erma is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Richard M. Newman of Rothesay; precious grandchildren Joshua, Caleb and Melanie; great-grandchildren Brianna, Kylie, Sophia and Jacob; brother Ronald (Joyce) of Lawrencetown, NS; sister Marion Beck (Ralph) of Blaine, Washington; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved son Rick Newman.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Friday, February 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 9th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
