It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wesley Barnes announce his passing on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 86th year. He will be sadly missed by his son Darryl (Marsha) of Corner Brook, two grandchildren: Tristan and Rachel of Corner Brook, two step-grandchildren: Courtney and Brittany, special niece Laura (Chris) of Woody Point, friend Dawn (Barry) of Corner Brook, two brothers: John Barnes of Cox's Cove and Clarence Barnes of Trout River, sister Valsie (Noble) Parsons of Trout River; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Church in Trout River on Wednesday and Thursday from where also the funeral service will take place on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the family plot.
