Born Dorothy Humphries on April 19, 1921 in Northampton, England. Dorothy married Ronald Leslie Inwood, Sergeant Major, Royal Marines on April 18, 1943 and immigrated to Canada in June, 1957, settling first in Ontario, then since 1986, British Columbia.
Dorothy was a talented designer and water colour painter.
Divorced in 1992, she was predeceased by Ronald several years later. Survived by sons Robin, Martin and Julian, four granddaughters, two grandsons and many great-grandchildren, who will cherish her memory in their hearts.
Her last three years were passed at Shorncliffe, where she was well loved by staff, for whose compassionate care we shall be forever grateful.
We all wish Dorothy a happy afterlife, where we hope there is lots of tea.
