At 79 years, beloved wife and best friend of Gordon H. Laird of Mansfield, Ont., Canada, passed away on June 1, 2008, at Brampton Civic Hospital. At Joyce’s request, life support systems were withdrawn and cremation followed. She was surrounded by her family: daughters, Lynda Lee Mosher (Reg) of Winsloe, P.E.I.; Janice Ann Baulne (Rene) of Mansfield, Ont.; and son, James Kent Laird (Delee) of West Chester, P.A.; and was proud to be called ‘Gram’ by eight, and ‘G.G.’ (Great Gram) by three. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Joyce’s name to the Heart or Lung Associations would be appreciated. A celebration of Joyce’s life took place at her Mansfield home.
