Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, St. John’s, in the presence of her loving family and after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, Georgina (Georgie) Mitchell (nee Ralph) of Grand Bank, age 85 years. Predeceased by parents Captain John and Sylvia Ann Ralph; brothers John, Frank and Reuben. Leaving to mourn: husband Eugene of 65 years; daughter Evelyn (Wallace Clancey), son David; grandchildren Vanessa & Lisa; great grandson Christopher; brother Arthur (Fronie), sister Mae (Leonard Myles), sister-in-law Lilian. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends.Funeral service was conducted by Rev.Wayne Blackwood from Grand Bank United Church at 2pm on Thursday January 31st.2013 .Interment followed at the Grand Bank United Church Cemetery.Organist was Mrs Betty Rogers.Pall Bearers were Winston Grandy, Neil Locke, Dennis Myles, George Penwell, Gus Ralph, and Arch Thornhill.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank.
