THREE BROOKS – Donald Roy Langille, 88, of Three Brooks, Pictou County, passed away February 6, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Toney River, June 23, 1924, he was a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Munro) Langille.
He was predeceased by his parents, six brothers and one sister and is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Clara (MacDonald); daughter, Diane Ross and granddaughter, Becky.
Don worked at the Pictou Shipyard for 37 years. He loved old time music, especially played by his granddaughter Becky, and attended many old time dances. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Pictou.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, from where funeral will be held 11 a.m. Monday with Amanda Henderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Riverbank Cemetery, Toney Mills, the Aberdeen Hospital, or the ALS Society.
