At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2010, of Emmett Dalton of Auburn. Beloved husband of Marie Dalton (nee Shea) and loving father of Charlene Duffy (Fred). Emmett will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Justina, Robert, Stephanie and Ryan Duffy, great-grandson Benjamin, brother Chester Dalton (Charlotte), sisters Thelma Woodridge, Sr. Pauline Dalton, Rita McLellan and Evelyn Gill and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Cecilia Dalton and brothers Lawrence, Mel, Ed, Ivan, Arnold, Bill and Frank. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, January 26, 6 - 9 p.m. only. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 27 at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
