It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stephen Eric Pike announce his passing on Friday, February 8th, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: wife of 57 years Alice “Betty”; children: Jeanette (Terry) Fewer, Edna (Wade) Goulding, Eric (Karen Drover), Roger (Terri-Lynn), Loretta (Craig Osmond), and Tracey Dwyer; grandchildren: Brad (Erica), Gerard (Stephanie), Brandon (Elizabeth), Taylor (Jordon), Lindsay (Kevin), Holly (Scott), Sherri (Tom), and Logan; great grandchild Naomi; sisters: Betty Parsons, Margaret (Danny) McCarthy, and Evelyn (Lloyd) Colbourne; sister in law Cora Pike; great niece and nephew: Laura and Adam Prosper, who were a great support during his hospital stay; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by: parents Stephen and Valerie; brother Gordon; sisters: Olga Park, Jean Prosper, and Edna Pike; brothers in law: Dick Park, Murdock Prosper, and John Parsons. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The memorial service will take place on Monday, February 11th, at 2:00 PM from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue, Rev. Tanya White officiating.
