Peacefully at the palliative care unit of Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, January 23, 2010 of William K. (Bill) MacLeod of Kensington, aged 61 years. He was born in Summerside on October 12, 1948, son of Harold MacLeod of Clinton, and the late Olive (Buchanan) MacLeod. As well as his father, Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 38 years Wendy (Jacklyn) MacLeod, daughters Krista (Jason Mellish), Indian River, Cara (Jason Abbott), Calgary, granddaughter Megan MacLeod and his faithful friend Molly. Brother of Beryle Patterson, Hamilton, Ont., Linda (George) Boyle, Charlottetown and Alan (Shirley) MacLeod, Kensington. Son-in-law of Ralph and Marilyn Jacklyn, Belleville, Ont. Brother-in-law of Roxy (Randy) Quilty, Newfoundland, Rick (Marlene), Ont. and Shelley (Ed) Brooks, Ont. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother-in-law George Patterson. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery Spring Brook.
