Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Prince County Hospital Summerside on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, of William K. (Bill) MacLeod of Kensington aged 61 years. He was born in Summerside on Oct. 12, 1948, son of Harold MacLeod of Clinton, and the late Olive (Buchanan) MacLeod. As well as his father, Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 38 years, Wendy (Jacklyn) MacLeod, daughters, Krista (Jason Mellish), Indian River; Cara (Jason Abbott), Calgary, Alta.; granddaughter, Megan MacLeod, and his faithful friend, Molly. Brother of Beryle Patterson, Hamilton, Ont.; Linda (George) Boyle, Charlottetown, and Alan (Shirley) MacLeod, Kensington. Son-in-law of Ralph and Marilyn Jacklyn, Belleville, Ont. Brother-in-law of Roxy (Randy) Quilty, Newfoundland; Rick (Marlene), Ontario and Shelley (Ed) Brooks, Ontario. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother-in-law, George Patterson. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery Spring Brook.
