John Angus Doucette, 67, entered into eternal rest peacefully in the presence of his family on the evening of February 8th, 2013. Angus was born January 22, 1946 in Stephenville, Newfoundland the son of Dorothy and John Doucette. Angus lived to share his musical gift to all that would listen. He held memories of performing with many friends and local musicians dear to his heart. Angus is now singing in heaven with friends that have gone before him and all those musicians he admired and dreamed of performing with. Angus is survived by his wife Lucy, three sons: Daniel, David, Angus (Janice), Three daughters: Crystal (Scott), Helen (Dale), Susan (Fintan), seven grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, siblings, Harold, Joseph, Fred and Ursula. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Ronnie and sister Edna. Visitation will take place Monday, February 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at Russell’s Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive Stephenville. Funeral service will be held at a later date.
