PHYLLIS FRANCIS
October 5, 1938 – February 6, 2013

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis Francis announces her passing on Wednesday, February 6, at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 74 years. Born at Port aux Basques, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Stanley and Francis Chaulk. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Henry in 2006, brothers Leslie, Harry, James, Charlie, Wilson, sisters Eileen Warren, Anne Underhill, sister-in-law Priscella Chaulk, brothers-in-law Wallace Pearce, Ralph Francis, Harry Underhill, Clyde Warren. She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her loving family: children, Joseph (Pearl) Port aux Basques, Rosanna (Cecil) Spencer Kippens, Lloyd (Diane) Edmonton AB; grandchildren, Shawn (Stephanie), Brent (Diane), Kirk (Anali), Gregory, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Preston, Kael, Eden, Mckenzie and Lilly; brother Fred Chaulk Port aux Basques; sisters-in-law, Vivian Chaulk, Sheila Chaulk, Mary Chaulk, Irene Chaulk, Nellie Chaulk, Nina Pearce, Elizabeth Francis, Dorothy (William) Ingram; brothers-in-law, Max (Geraldine) Francis, Freeman (Rita) Francis and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation took place on Friday and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Sunday, February 10, 2 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Hannah Dicks. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
