Lloyd was a devout family man, friend to all and a carpenter by trade. Lloyd was known as a man who worked tirelessly on what needed to be done. He cared deeply for those around him and demonstrated in his loving acts of kindness and community service on a continual basis. He loved to travel, especially if that meant it was for coffee with the guys or to visit with his children. He was an avid outdoorsman, something he passed on to his sons and they enjoyed on their annual backcountry trips together in the mountains of Alberta, looking for elk on horseback, riding quads or casting dry flies to mountain trout in clear cool streams.
Cremation to take place. In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held the summer of 2013.
Memorial donations may be made in Lloyd’s name to St. John’s Presbyterian Church, MacLennan’s Mountain or to a charity of one’s choice.
