MUISE, Frederick William “Fred” – 79, of Yarmouth; passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was the son of the late William and Isabelle (Deveau) Muise. Married 10 days short of 58 years to Rose Marie (Moulaison) Muise. Leaving daughters Michele (Jerry) Winters, Rosemarie, Susan (Ron Duffy), Peggy (Bruce Johnson) and sons Wesley (Darlene) and Derek (Rhonda). Grand children; Heather (Darcy), Jennifer (Chad), Breanne, Mark, Ashley, Cody, Kerri, Hannah, Kayla, Erik and great-granddaughter Bailey. Also survived by his extended family Gladys Little, Clara (Victor) Deveau, Doreen (Jack) Boyd, George (Anne) Moulaison, Madeline Moulaison. He was pre-deceased by a stillborn daughter, mom Ida and papa Eli Moulaison, Peter and Bill Moulaison, Albert Branscombe and Wesley Little. Fred spent a full year in Korea on the minesweeper Iroquois in the Canadian Navy; volunteer fireman and treasurer for “Reliance” company. Fred was a commissionaire in charge at Yarmouth Airport and the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, and retired as a fueler for Air Canada and Air Nova. Born an only child to deaf-mute parents, Fred’s life was made of music, quiet, family and cats. Cremation has taken place. Visiting hours were held Tuesday Feb 12 from 1 p.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m. all at Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth, NS. Internment took place following in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Tri-county VON.
