It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Joyce announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the age of 86 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Rose and 1 son, Perry (Tracey) of Mattis Point, 2 daughters: Veronica Joyce Parsons (Andrew Slaney) of Mattis Point, Debbie Joyce (Kirby Kennedy) of Barachois Brook, 1 sister, Jeanie Joyce Turple (Arthur) of Nova Scotia, 2 brothers: Stanley (Christine) of Barachois Brook, Charlie (Elaine) of Barachois Brook, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Joan, sister, Dora Simon and brother, Albert. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday, February 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with Cremation to follow.
