HARRISON, LENA BEATRICE - It is with great sadness the family of Lena B. Harrison announces her passing on February 13, 2013 at the York Care Center, Fredericton NB. Born in Claudie Settlement, NB on January 21, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Sterling and Lucy Hanson and wife of the late Preston Harrison. Lena was a member of the Baptist Church. She was a very avid reader, loved to crochet and knit many things for her family and friends. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by her children Randy (Susan) of Hainesville, Viola Myshrall (Joseph) of Greenhill Lake, Edward of Hurlet Road, Clayton of Scotch Settlement, Robin (Lyda Mae) of Scotch Settlement, Elaine Harrison, Gloria Harrison both of Fredericton, and Anne Reynolds (William) of Scotch Lake; 27 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by the two sons Eugene and Gerald; four brothers Lorne, Irvine, Gerald and Nelson; four sisters Alice, Olive, Mildred and Irene; a granddaughter Lori Dawn; a great grandson Seth.
Visitation for the public will take place on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 7 to 9 PM at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road. Funeral service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor George Clark officiating. Interment at a later date.
