Passed suddenly but peacefully away at her residence, Sunday, January 24, 2010, Rosalie Evely of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband Damon; daughter Yvonne Marshall; parents Gilbert and Ella; sister Lillian Rowe. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Donna Hiscock and Cindy (Tim) Vaters, both of Freshwater, Carbonear; three sons: Raymond (Gail), St. John’s, Wayne (Nina), Victoria and Gerald (Bonnie), Freshwater, Carbonear; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister Shirley (Hedley) Preston, Mount Pearl; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours by request of the family on Tuesday, January 26, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 27 at 2 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
