MacDONALD, ELDON J. -1927 - 2013 - Moncton - Eldon John MacDonald, husband of Marian MacDonald, of Worthington St., Moncton, passed away the Moncton City Hospital, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the age of 85. Born in Black River Bridge, in 1927, he was the son of the late Duncan and Georgie (Jardine) MacDonald. He was a retired employee of the Dominion Bridge Co. Ltd. And attended the Church of the Good Shepherd, Moncton. He is survived by his wife, the former Marian Connors; one daughter, Doris Cowan (Cliff); one son, Ron MacDonald (Annette); four grandchildren, Tim (Micheline), Bob (Krystal), Cara, Stephanie; two great grandchildren, Liam and Alex; five brothers, Benson MacDonald (Marie), Leigh MacDonald (Lisa), Henry MacDonald (Anna), Walter MacDonald (Bernedette), Pearly MacDonald (Dell).
Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Saturday, from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Sunday morning, February 17, 2013, at 11 am, conducted by Pastor David Maillette. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
