STAIRS, REVEREND CONARD EARL - July 13, 1927 - February 13, 2013 - Peacefully, with family at his bedside, into the arms of God on February 13, 2013 at York Care Centre. Son of the late Ethel (Corey) and Earl Stairs of Meductic. Predeceased by his beloved spouse Betty Ruth (Christensen) and his brother Edison. Survived by sons Gary and Glenn; daughters-in-law Susanne Alexander and Stephanie Simpson; loving grandchildren Isaac Prah, Aaron Alexander-Stairs, Nia and Zahra Simpson-Stairs; nieces and nephews. Minister Emeritus of Corbett Wesleyan Church, over 60 years of ordained Christian service, pastoring numerous churches in the Maritimes and Ontario. Dad served proudly as President of Bethany Bible College, now Kingswood University, for over a decade, and did much to facilitate the school’s move to its current location in Sussex. With Mom’s help, Dad managed Heritage Memorials in Fredericton for 11 years. He survived many years of challenged health with grace and dignity. Visitation will take place at Corbett Wesleyan, 55 Corbett Avenue, Fredericton on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral will take place at Corbett on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2 PM. Reception following. A private Interment will follow in the spring.
