TEUNISSEN, Catharina "Katie" - 83, Elk Court, Brookfield, passed away Wednesday evening, February 13, 2013, at Elk Court. Born in Nymegan, Holland, she was a daughter of the late Arnoldus and Maria (Bosch) Teunissen. Katie worked as a registered nurse all of her working life in Ontario as well as England. She is survived by her sister, Thea (Lambert) Vissers, East Stewiacke; sister-in-law, Wilhelmien Teunissen, Holland; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Katie was predeceased by her brothers, Henk and Peter; sister, Lies. The family wishes to send a sincere thanks to all of the staff at Elk Court, Brookfield for all the excellent care that Katie received. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where a family funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, February 16, 2013, Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating.
