Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre on February 13, 2013 in the presence of his loving family, Phonse House, age 101 years. Predeceased by his infant son, Roger Douglas and parents, Ronald and Lucy House of Catalina. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 70 years, Bunty and his children: Heather (Barry Walters), Ron (Christine) and Sheilagh (Chris Henley); grandchildren: Nicholas Walters, Amy, Nora and David House, Marc, Alec and Abbey Henley; as well as brother-in-law James (Dorothy Baxter); and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Cathedral.
