HOPPER, FRANCES O. - Frances O. Hopper, 83, of Fredericton and formerly of Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence in Fredericton on Friday, February 15, 2013. Born in Dawson Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bina (Wheaton) Jonah. Frances was retired from Co-Op Atlantic Credit Services, Moncton. She enjoyed playing cards, socializing with her friends and spending quality time with her family. Frances will be sadly missed by her daughters, Nancy Manning of Oromocto; Kathryn Jarvis (Ted) of Barrie, ON; son, John Hopper (Sherry) of Pompano Beach, Florida; precious grandchildren, Jeanne, Jennifer, Scott, Kate, Jessica, Ezekiel and Eric; cherished great grandchildren, Taylor, Zacharie, Emily and Jonah; sister, Audrey Bernard (Alan) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; niece, Sue and nephew, Gary. In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Hopper (1958); son in law, Michael Manning (2007); brother, Edwin Jonah (1999).
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
