Jean Hardy, 79, of Sydney passed away peacefully at home, Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
Born in Burgeo, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Janes) Ingraham.
Jean is survived by her husband Wilfred, son Frank, Sydney, a sister Sadie, (Ken Hann), Corner Brook, and grandchildren Katie Lynn, and Michael William and many nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by first husband Harold Cooper, brother Max (Hope), brother Harry (Elsie) and a sister Lucy, (Reginald ‘Busie’).
Visitation will take place Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Sydney Memorial Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Laura McCue officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
