Fisher, Claudia Jean, 59, Valley, Col. Co., passes away Saturday, February 16, 2013 surrounded by her family in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Lawlor) Blanchard. Claudia previously worked for Zeller’s and many other public places around Truro where she was well known. She was involved in children’s baseball in previous years. She enjoyed family get-togethers, being with her family and especially being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Glenn; son Trevor (Kimberly) of Debert; daughter Shelly of Bible Hill; grandchildren, Jordan, Marshall, Trent, Hailey; brothers Wayne of Quebec, Barry of Shediac, NB; sisters, Carol Ann Blanchard of Moncton, Sharon VanDenTempel (Andy) of Ontario; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Claudia was predeceased by twin daughters Carrie and Tina; brothers, Paul and Brian; sisters, Paula Marie and Gloria Jean.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 and funeral service Wednesday Feb. 20th at 1 pm, in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, with Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Donations in Claudia’s memory may be made to the C.I.D.P.
