MAE MACLEAN
We the family of the late Mae MacLean, whose funeral was held Friday, February 8th at St Mary’s Church in East Bay, wish to express our gratitude to everyone who attended the visitation and the funeral. Our thanks go out to all who made donations of cards, enrollments, masses, and flowers in memory of Mae. We truly appreciate all the food sent to our homes, during Mae’s illness and after her passing. We would to thank the CWL for the lovely lunch at the East Bay Southside Firehall, as well as East bay Volunteer Fire department for the use of their facilities. Thanks to the Baldwins and the Gillis’s for the supper between visitations. To all those who travelled long distances, from Mississippi, Texas, Florida and Ontario, your attendance gave us comfort. Thanks to the urn bearer, readers, altar servers, ushers and the honor guard so lovingly provided by Mae’s friends The Cape Breastoners. To Father Frank Abbass, thanks for the service which was a heartfelt and an inspiring celebration of Mae’s life. Thank you to Carol MacDougall and Carl MacKenzie for their musical contribution.
Special thanks to Dr. MacCormack and Dr. Todd for the wonderful care they provided for Mae during her illness. A heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care staff, the VON, and our family and friends who made it possible for Mae to be at home as she wished. Thank you to T. W. Curry Funeral Home staff for the professional and compassionate manner in which they handled our loss. We will be forever grateful to family and friends who were with us and are still there for us. You are truly wonderful people.
