
Lisa Carrier
CARRIER, LISA DAWN MARIE - It is with deep sadness to announce that on February 15, 2013, with her husband and mother at her bedside, Lisa lost her battle with cancer. Born on January 8, 1974 in St. Stephen, NB to Joseph Carrier Sr. and Patricia Carrier (Bradford). Lisa is survived by her husband Warrant Officer Dwight Anderson, her mother and father, two brothers Joseph Carrier Jr and companion Mae Waugh of Pennfield and Kevin Carrier of Pennfield, her maternal grandmother Flora Rice of Saint John, two extra special nephews Josh Carrier and Brody Carrier and beautiful niece Teagan Carrier, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lisa was a devoted wife who loved taking care of her family. Her dogs were her babies, Molly, Layla and Lucky. Lisa attended Fundy High School in St. George, UNB-Saint John where she attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree, then the University of Manitoba to attain her Bachelor of Education, which she considered her most prized accomplishment. Lisa enjoyed travelling, she has seen Rome, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. She enjoyed reading, doing needlepoint and recently started sketching and painting.
No service will be held in Winnipeg. Her ashes will be brought home by her husband Dwight for a memorial service to be held on Monday, February 25 at the Wesleyn Church in Blacks Harbour at 2pm. Interment will follow in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
