The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, of Joseph “David” Boucher of the Linkletter Road and formerly of Miscouche, aged 70 years. David was born on Oct. 13, 1942, in Moncton, N.B., to his late parents, Ted and Alice (nee Elda) Boucher. Beloved husband of the late Heather (nee Charbonneau) Boucher and loving father of Jackie (Gary) Ellis of Linkletter, Kimberley Boucher of St. Catherines, Ont., Donald (Tammy) of Summerside and David (Juanita) of Darnley. Also lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Joshawa, Devon, Victoria, Nicole, Zachary and Jenna. Survived by his brother Gerry Boucher (Emily) of Dieppe, N.B. Besides his parents and his wife, David was predeceased by his daughter Melody Boucher. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, Feb. 20, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:15 p.m. Memorial donations in David’s memory to Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
