It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Rory Thomas Martino. Rory was born on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 and died in the arms of his mother and father the morning of Sunday, February 17, 2013. In a short time this beautiful boy changed the lives of many. He leaves behind his twin brother Simon; his parents: David and Laura; his siblings: Samuel and Cecilia; his grandparents: Aiden and Karen Walsh and Tony and Lina Martino; his aunt and uncles and extended family and many loving special friends. His family would like to thank all staff of the Janeway Neonatal ICU, the Fetal Assessment Unit and all nurses on 5 North of the Health Sciences. Very special thanks for their care goes to Doctors Crane, Delaney, Windrim, Bartellas and Halley. And for their guidance and support, thanks to Fr. Tony Bidgood and Fr. Gerard Ryan, S.J. Funeral service will take place from St. Teresa's Parish, Mundy Pond Road, on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., with a private family interment to follow.
