Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife on Monday, January 25, 2010, at the Health Sciences Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer, one month shy of his 61st birthday. Born in Poland, Piotr emigrated to Canada in 1987. The founder and CEO of NavSim Technology, and an avid judoka, 3rd dan, his enthusiasm and determination were legendary. Left with many fond and loving memories are his parents Agnieszka and Franciszek (Waclawek); sisters: Elzunia (Kowalczewska) and Marylka (Schygulla); wife Grazyna (Gina) and daughters: Anna and Justyna, along with son-in-law Walter (Lawlor) and granddaughter Carolina. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday, January 27th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, January 28th at 11 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove.
