The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Monday, February 18, 2013, of Marion Johnston, of Summerside, aged 98 years.
Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Ellen (Duggan) MacQuarrie. Survived by her children, Natalie (Gerry) Mawhinney, New London; James B. (Pauline) Johnston, Stratford; Jerry (Carol) Johnston, New Glasgow; daughter-in-law, Melda Johnston, Canoe Cove; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and by her brother, Ralph MacQuarrie, Summerside.
Predeceased by her husband, Bruce Johnston; son, Nelson Johnston; and by her sister, Lena McEwen.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will later take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside.
Visiting hours Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
