MOREHOUSE, JOHN "JACK" VINCENT - Jack Morehouse of Zealand, NB passed away February 20, 2013 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Zealand, NB in 1937, he was a son of the late Melvin A. and Irma M. Morehouse. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia (Ginger) (Parker) Morehouse; five children, Michael, Kevin (Tawyna), both of Zealand, NB, Karl (Miriam), Oakville, ON, Linda Sturge-Rickard, Fredericton, NB and Melanie Clarkson (Lee), Tay Creek, NB; five grandchildren, Dexter and Courtney Sturge, Mariah and William Morehouse and Bailey Clarkson; one great grandson, Dexter James Sturge; a brother, Andy Morehouse, Bethel, NB; a sister-in-law, Devota Shannon, Temperance Vale, NB; a dear family friend, Gary Gilbert; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Myles Morehouse; a son-in-law, James Sturge and a daughter-in-law, Thelma Kennard.
Visiting hours will be held at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the church with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will be later at Zealand Community Cemetery.
