HOBBS, JEANETTE - 1936 - 2013 - Jeanette Hobbs passed away peacefully, with her loving family at her side on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Phyllias and Marianne (Cormier) Daigle. Jeanette was not only a devoted wife, caring mother and loving grandmother, she was very passionate about her family in general. She was an avid reader and a lover of old movies, especially musicals. She is survived by her husband Dan, daughters; Julie Hobbs and Patty Tabin both of Moncton, New Brunswick, Debbra Hobbs of Calgary, Alberta and Cindy Hobbs of Melville, Saskatchewan. Sisters; Simone Cormier, Louise Cormier and Lorraine Poirier, brothers; Fred Daigle (Stacey) and Gerry Daigle (Diane), seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predecease by sisters; Geraldine Hamilton and Winnifred LeBlanc, brothers; Yvon and Alban Daigle.
In honoring Jeanette’s wishes a funeral service will be held from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM, with Father Phil Mulligan presiding, followed by a reception at the funeral home.
