BABINEAU PIERRE P. - 1927 - 2013 - Pierre P. Babineau, 85, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Saint-Louis, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital University Centre, Moncton on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013. Born in Saint-Louis, he was the son of the late Pierre and the late Mélanie (Daigle) Babineau. During his life, Pierre sponsored over 65 third world RC Priests. Pierre will be sadly missed by his sister Ida Landry of Saint-Louis, and two brothers; Antoine, of Saint-Louis, and Napoléon (Lilianne) of Leominster, Mass. and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one sister, Marie and four brothers; Luc, Sylvestre, David and Xavier.
Visitations will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis, on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis on Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Pierre’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation.
